Working in the Space, Ground and Earth Observation segments, Critical has established itself as a reliable, proactive and close partner for customers that are searching for innovative solutions for the ongoing challenges facing this industry. Our first customer was NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, followed by Eumetsat in 2000 and the European Space Agency (ESA) in 2001. Currently, Critical works as a prime contractor or subcontractor with a wide range of companies and institutions such as ESA, NASA, JAXA, EADS Astrium, Thales Alenia Space, and many others.
Our activities range from system or solution development, to specialized services such as independent product assurance. Our technical capabilities applicable to the space industry are extensive. These range from services applicable to the production of high integrity software solutions (quality & product assurance, ISVV, RAMS) to the customized development of systems using best available technologies and modelling methodologies such as SOA.
